2. Scope

This policy applies to the Purchaid website, applications, waitlist, account features, AI shopping advisor, analytics, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

3. Data we collect

Depending on how you use Purchaid, we may collect:

• Account data — email address, name, profile image, authentication identifiers, and session information.
• Usage data — chat messages, search queries, product interactions, thread history, device/browser type, IP address, timestamps, and referral URLs.
• Waitlist & marketing data — email address and signup metadata.
• Support data — information you send to support@purchaid.com.
• Technical data — cookies, analytics events, error logs, and security logs.

4. How we use data

We process personal data to:

• provide, operate, and improve the Service;
• authenticate users and secure accounts;
• personalize recommendations and remember chat context;
• send transactional messages such as magic-link sign-in emails;
• measure performance, debug issues, and prevent abuse;
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Broader use rights. By using Purchaid, you acknowledge that we may use personal data for any purpose related to operating, developing, marketing, monetizing, or otherwise commercializing the Service, subject to applicable law.

5. Sharing, sale, and commercial use

We may share personal data with service providers that help us run Purchaid (for example hosting, email delivery, analytics, AI inference, and payment processors). They may only process data on our instructions and for the purposes we specify.

Sharing and sale. You acknowledge and agree that we may disclose, share, license, or sell personal data to third parties in the future, including for advertising, analytics, market research, product development, affiliate partnerships, or other commercial purposes. Where required by law, we will provide notice or obtain consent before doing so.

We may also disclose data if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

6. AI and automated processing

Chat and recommendation features may send your prompts, product context, and related usage data to third-party AI providers for processing. Do not submit sensitive personal information you do not want processed for this purpose.

7. Retention

We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the Service, pursue legitimate business interests (including analytics and product improvement), comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to data portability. EU/EEA users may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

9. International transfers

Purchaid is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided data.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
